Share WebsiteLike many Irish people, Mairead has travelled the world in search of adventure, new experiences and friendships. She's lived and worked in the USA, Australia, France, Ireland and the UK. However, despite her globe-trotting tendencies, she has always felt a strong draw towards her homeland, the Emerald Isle, land of Saints, Sinners and Scholars! She now calls Gorey, County Wexford her home, on the Sunny South East coast of Ireland.
Mairead is a natural story teller and a true romantic. From a very early age she has always been fascinated by people; their stories, their personalities and what makes them tick. She's a sucker for a good love story so to be able to facilitate a public declaration of love between two people is an absolute honour and privilege for her.
Mairead believes that all human beings are worthy and capable of love and her dream is that one day, all people will respect and honour their fellow souls regardless of our differences.

We had guests traveling from the USA, Canada and the UK, and wanted them to experience a ceremony full of true Irish charm and spirit. After meeting with a few celebrants, our decision couldn’t have been more clear – trusting Mairead with the most intimate and powerful moment of our wedding was a no-brainer. She had several ideas and suggestions on how to make the ceremony stand out, and we ended up including a lighting-of- the-family-candles ceremony, and the symbolic “tying the knot” feature to our ceremony. Hannah and Lee x Mairead was outstanding, and made us feel comfortable, relaxed and excited the entire time, and we had several of our guests speak with us post ceremony about how impressed they were with her. She was smooth, and facilitated a truly magical ceremony, one that we will never forget. Mairead was the perfect choice for us, and we can’t recommend her enough! 10/10
We honestly couldn’t recommend our Mairead enough! From the very first time we met Mairead she was so friendly and genuinely interested in making our ceremony personal and special to us. Mairead made the whole process so easy and stress-free, taking the time to get to know us as a couple and include all the little details that made our ceremony feel truly “us”. On the day itself, she was professional, calm and reassuring, while also bringing so much warmth to the ceremony. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful, emotional, personal and filled with so many lovely moments — exactly what we had hoped for. We had so many guests comment afterwards about how lovely the ceremony was and how amazing our celebrant was.
