A Dream Wedding Week in Vilamoura, Portugalrn I just got back from my best friend's wedding in Vilamoura, Portugal, and it was absolutely amazing, with special thanks to her incredible wedding planner, Sarah. From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on, making the whole week unforgettable. We kicked things off with a welcome party in Vilamoura , Sarah nailed it with a perfect venue for everyone to meet and dance the night away to live music. The wedding day was like a fairy tale, set in the stunning Old Village Vilamoura. Sarah’s attention to detail was next level, from beautiful flowers to elegant table settings. While I’m on the subject of flowers 💐 Wild Essence created the most beautiful bouquets for us. Carla is so talented. It was all so personal and perfect for the couple, and we could see the bride and groom enjoying every second without a bit of stress. Sarahs research and connections really showed on the wedding day, with brilliant hair and make up artists! We wouldn’t know where to start with looking for them in a foreign country! As for the venue, it was so unique and so perfect 😍rn As the day flowed effortlessly from the ceremony to the reception, we were treated to amazing food and music that kept everyone in the party mood. The saxophone player was as amazing! Then came the after-party—a fun, high-energy bash that had us dancing late into the night. Sarah turned what could have been an ordinary event into something extraordinary. Her creativity and passion for planning shone through every detail, leaving us all with incredible memories. I was blown away by Sarah’s planning ! If you’re considering her for your wedding or thinking about an Algarve wedding and don’t know where to start, Sarah is your girl! She’ll make sure your special day/week is nothing short of magical!
We struck gold finding Sarah Connor as our wedding planner. She was nothing short of AMAZING! My fiancé and I live in the states but wanted to plan a wedding in Ireland. The thought of planning a destination wedding was daunting until Sarah came into the picture. Sarah reached out to us and explained she’s been in the industry for years but trying to launch her own business. Once we met Sarah on Zoom, we knew she was the perfect person. Poor Sarah put up with us for TWO years!!! Granted, the calls, talks & texts were few and far between in the beginning but she helped us every step of the way. In the beginning, Sarah went to various locations to film video for options of places for us to get married. Sarah scheduled zoom calls as needed once details started coming together. Sarah found us the most AMAZING vendors for what we were looking for. We took a trip to Ireland the year prior and Sarah took time away from her family and life to be with us. She drove us around to different places for what we were looking for to ensure everything would be perfect the following year. She got to know us both on a personal level to ensure every detail was perfect for us. She cared about us and she wanted nothing more than the most perfect day. No stone was left unturned. I give 100% credit to Sarah for making our day absolutely flawless. The day of the wedding, Sarah was like a bonus maid of honor for me because before I could even think about this or that, Sarah was one step ahead. The ONLY thing I had to worry about on my wedding day was being a bride. I attribute that to all the leg work that Sarah put in before, during and after. Sarah was also a bonus photographer/videographer. She took the most amazing video of our vows, she captured priceless pics before/during and after our ceremony. The things she did that went way above and beyond for us. We are so fortunate that Sarah found us and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Sarah from the deepest place in my heart for all your advise, time, efforts, compassion, caring, support. You are more than a wedding planner, I am happy to call you a friend. Thank you for treating us like family and doing all you did. For caring about our wedding as though it was your own.
