Harlequin played our wedding in November and we can honestly say that they made our wedding day. From the start, Shane was so professional and hands on. He was always on the other end of the phone no matter how small our query and was great with ideas and advice to really make sure we got the most out of the day. We felt like we were in such safe hands throughout. From the moment they started we knew we were in for a fun, entertaining night. For our first dance the band did Tiny Dancer and Harlequin’s version is now our new favourite version! They really got the party going after that and the dance floor was packed all night. Shane’s voice was absolutely incredible and all the band members had such energy. We also loved the videos Shane took of our guests enjoying themselves on the dance floor as they performed - it’s great to have something like that to look back at. We also had Shane as DJ after the band and he made sure to keep the party going into the early hours. We have never seen a wedding band like Harlequin and we have such fantastic memories of the night. Our guests are still raving about Harlequin. Willie and I would highly recommend Harlequin to any couple looking for a wedding band. I can not fault these lads! Shane and the gang made our wedding the best craic we could have wanted and the made sure the music reflected our Irish Australian union playing all the Aussie wedding classics! I want to have a 5 year anniversary wedding just so I can have a mad session with these lads!!!!!!
From the first contact to this band, until the last song played at our wedding, Harlequin showed nothing but professionalism and high octane entertainment. Dealing with Shane ( Lead Singer ) is an experience that makes you understand that they are there for you. Wanting to know all the details of your day, what songs you want played ( No set playlists to select from ) and most importantly, wanting to know about you!.. On the night, from the first song to the last, our guests didn't leave the dance floor. The full on entertainment until 1am brought the house down. But it didn't stop there... As the staff for the band started to pack down the equipment, Shane and one of the guitarists moved to a corner of the room and in true Pied Piper fashion everyone followed. The singalong had just started.. As 4am was approaching the shutter of the bar start coming down Shane started to slow it down. As the shutter closed, the last string on the guitar was struck and our guests stood up with a standing ovation to applaud the wonderful entertainment that Harlequin had provided for the last 6 hours in total. They are not just a "Wedding Band"... They are more of a concert experience that keeps you captivated all night long with the amazing musicians ( including brass! ), vocals, entertainment.
