Eric specialises in wedding photography, being one of the top wedding photographers in the Dublin Meath area. Having taken up photography at a young age in Dublin, Eric has now spent several years as a professional photographer. Meath is now home to the Ronan Family and Eric’s award winning wedding photography business.
You may prefer the contemporary, candid, reportage style or more formal group shots. Eric can do it all. There are several wedding packages available including wedding album and a cd of your wedding photographs in digital form.
Eric Ronan is passionate about taking pictures. He is one of Irelands freshest and most contemporary photographers. The first year of his media education was in Coláiste Dulaigh where he discovered his love of Black and White photography. Until 2005 Eric still hand printed all of his own black and white images.
“When I go out on a shoot, whether it’s a wedding or a Life Style Portrait shoot I try to give the client and their family as much freedom to express themselves in their photos as possible. I feel honored when some one hires me to take their wedding photos. I know that this is the most important day of their lives and to be asked to be part of that is an amazing opportunity.
I’m a firm believer in a personal approach to my photography. From the initial contact with my client to the final production of the album or portrait. When it comes to wedding photography I prefer to meet with the couple to discuss their needs and what they believe should be in their album. I prefer not to send out demo discs of my work.
This really doesn’t give the couple an overall feel of how their album and photos will look. Hence that is why I will arrange if possible to meet with the couple in person for coffee, to show samples of albums and images. This is the first stage in building up a trusting relationship with my client. After this initial meeting I am aware of what is expected of me on a couple’s big day.”
