Hi there and thank you for visiting, my name is Nicola McGuire, I am a professional vocalist and independent Wedding Celebrant based in Ireland.
Here’s a little bit about me.
I have been singing since I was 9 years old, starting with musicals and variety productions in Galway. I performed solo in a variety competition at age 9 and won the best solo performer award. This started my journey and my love of singing and performing.

Throughout my career I have been so lucky to have some amazing opportunities. I have toured extensively with shows as a vocalist. I worked with Irish Music productions, ‘Dance of Desire’ and ‘The Women Of Ireland’ performing all over North America, Europe and the Middle East.

I have been a vocalist with Galway’s famous Black Magic Big Band for 18 years. This 20 piece big band has performed for some of the most prestigious events in Ireland.

I attended The Berklee school of music in Boston and studied vocal performance.

I have been performing at wedding ceremonies as a soloist since 2000 and started The Cosmonauts with band mate Joe Egan in 2008. The Cosmonauts are now regarded as one of the top wedding bands in Ireland.

As a wedding vocalist I have won a number of awards.

I’m 2017, I co wrote, produced and performed in an Irish music show called Mise Eire The Show. This was a beautiful production of Irish music and history with a cast of traditional Irish musicians, dancers and singers. We ran summer long in Galway city until 2020 when sadly the pandemic changed our plans.

In my personal life, I am mummy to two beautiful little boys and wife to the amazing John.

I adore my work and give every wedding 100% I feel very lucky to be able to work at something I absolutely love ❤️
